Guys
A curvaceous Pinanfarina lid fits eight inch Marquees, fits nine inch with some modifications; flat black, needs touchup, or paint any color you like. Pictures sent to your e.mail on request.
Make offer.

Hey Tim,
How would someone mod that to fit a 9" machine? I ask because fiberglass has the tendency to shatter relatively easily.

The lens openings would need to be cut bigger like a big oval, since nine inch lenses are slightly higher off the deck and slightly farther apart.

What I meant, was how do you cut (what tools) so that you don't destroy the thing?

I have not modified one, a Corvette shop could handle it.

I used a unibit ( a 7/8 tapered drill bit ). I drilled a couple of holes and then used a saber saw with a fine blade, it's tricky unless you can find a long blade as I had to cut some from the front and some from the back. The length of the blade prevents you from cutting it all from one side. I made mine a vision one from a vision two. It was a lot of work as the holes are somewhat oval and no way I could think of to measure off anything. It turned out great but like I said, a lot of work. Next time I would cut out a neat oval and get some plastic car door trim for the rough cut.
