Taking a complete stab in the dark here. If I remember (and I could be way off), isn't this one of the RCA chassis that uses a tuner and prescaler sandwiched together? If the tuner or prescaler go bad, doesn't the set go dead?

The first flyback I ever changed was on a CTC 16. Those were really cool when they went bad...Smoked like crazy.

Dont worry about it!!..I can handle it..I was asking only for a little more info. about (Schematics) just in case I knock the hell's door..Anyway I have ready my toolset to diagnostic this chassis..I will notice you about my successful with this challenge...

Well..here is my little black beast coming to life..like Lazaro ..stand up and walk!
sympton: Bad SMPS,U14101 damaged,Q14101 and various resistors burned and shorted diodes..also capacitors in the secondary stage.
tools to troubleshooter: oscilloscope,multimeter,variac,clips,capacitor tester
