Hi all, just picked up a new DMP-BDT110GN player, and its a big step up from the Pioneer i had!!

This one actually scales DVDs up to 1080i while keeping them full screen, where the Pioneer put a huge boarder all the way around it!!

Picture quality on Blurays seems to be a small step up too, although it was pretty exceptional with the Pioneer anyway.

I have a Panasonic BD player. Really happy with the picture quality but it takes a heck of a long time to load.

This one is quick as hell, the Pioneer was real slow, but this is lightning fast. It loads a Bluray in the same time the Pioneer loaded a DVD!!

And One!
My experience as well. I have a Panny 110 and 210, and not only did the picture quality increase (probably more noticeable on a large screen display), but the loading speed is significantly quicker than my old 2nd-gen(maybe?) Blu-ray player from Samsung (BD-P1500).

I've actually inserted a Blu-ray in the Samsung, went to the frig, got a soda, started microwaving popcorn, come back to check on it, and it would still be loading Shocked . And that's if on occasion I didn't have to reboot it.

And the FREE copies (assuming the promo is still going) of Avatar are nice bonuses as well Very Happy
