Nothing fancy needed here, it's for my daughters bed room. She wants to be able to play all the movies I've bought since we went to Blu Ray in the theater and front room. It's only gonna be feeding an old 32" CRT TV, so Blu Ray player has to have the composite output, I've noticed that some don't. I've looked around a little bit and some of the reviews for the cheaper ones suck. I want the Net Flix and other streaming accounts to work (that seems to be the big complaint in the reviews). Has anyone found a cheap one that they like?

You can always get an RF converter so you can hook it up to the CRT. But the AV outs (if it has them) on the BluRay would still need to be 480i.

Does the CRT only have composite RF in or does it also have AV ins?

I'm just assuming that if it outputs through the "yellow" that it would be in 480i, like I said, nothing fancy. She just wants to watch the movies from the last few years...go figure teenage daughter..."Eclipse" saga..."Red Riding Hood"...the list is huge.
