Damn you! That is exactly what I was pricing up yesterday. I thought the Core i3 would have more power but the AMD stuff was cheaper.
Show me some pictures of the thing as it is setup and maybe one inside with it all loaded in that case please.
My main use would be daily TV viewing from an HD Homerun Prime.
Is that BR rip over the network??

Yes...it is a 1080p rip over network. I'll take some shots of the box later I've got to go out for a little bit.

That's pretty cool, Mike. I hope you have better luck with the OCz SSD than I did with their expensive (at the time) RAM from 18 months ago. I hope they stay in the SSD business, instead of bailing like they did on me (without honoring their lifetime replacement).

I like the mini systems, now if there were just room for two tuner cards it'd be cool

Just get a network tuner card like I am going to do. I already have the standard HDHomerun but want to get the prime so I can get cable card programming at any computer!
Or you can go USB route which isn't that bad really.

Here are some images. I put Blu-ray next to it so you can get an idea of the size. Greg, the i3 is a lot more powerfull...I'm not sure you need it for playing BD rips...The current Developer pre-release is very basic...There is no WMC, so I'm looking at writing a Metro App for lanching MKV's. BTW Metro runs really fast on it...I'll try to take some video and post sometime later. My actual cost was about $15 less, I used a 12 Volt power brick I had laying around and hard wired it in Note the lack of connector on the back.

No good to me. I like it all internal so I can take the box with me. I can see where that would work though.
Cable card's no good to me either. Canadian cable companies don't support it.

Sure, thanks.
What about control?
How do you intend to control the PC? IR?
