Tim,
$20 to replace the battery sounds expensive, as they only cost about $8 each.

Cheers

Well guys

I spent several hours developing a jig so the settings don't get dumped during the battery change, so I think we are reasonable on that.

It be easier to just pop in their CLM to a marquee and download the settings, do the mod and then up load them again. since all settings are lost when doing the banding mod you might as well save the customers settings to a computer. then you can also send them the settings file for them to up load if they ever loose those setting for some reason.

I was thinking the same, imagining an open battery holder on the board. Clearly its a lot more involved and so from I've read the $20 seems very reasonable. Cheap insurance if you ask me.

Steve is very capable of replacing his own so he probably doesn't like paying someone to do it. Not everybody can do that, especially without losing their settings. Seems like a good service to me.

Hey Tim,
I appologise if I seemed agressive, but your explaination is good.
Value is worth it, as I thought from previous threads, that all settings, or memories would be lost or reset.

Cheers

i would be interested in this as a diy package for about 100usd less, i don`t like the idea of shipping back and forth my clm so i cannot use my pj for about 2 weeks.
i use my pj on a daily base approx 4-6 hrs.
