The 3D-Displayer is in stock. Right now our distributor/shipper is waiting on the RF glasses. They were shipped from the manufacturer on May 25th and should arrive soon - I would expect your order to ship early next week.

Thanks for your order - it's appreciated!

Hi Kal:

Will you be receiving any extra RF glasses in that order?

Yes, the manufacturer is sending over a whole bunch of RF glasses. They're very popular.

Until the multi-channel pass-through problem is corrected, will only pass 2-channel audio, connect Playstation to Displayer Input, Displayer Output to TV. digital Coax or TOSlink back to AVR to decode multi-channel (or maybe HDMI splitter).

If you send Playstation HDMI (I dont own one) to the AVR, then AVR output to Displayer Input, Displayer Output to TV you will only have 2-channel audio for now.

You can also daisy-chain this way as well: Playstation>Displayer>AVR>TV. Depends on how you want to tackle this problem. VIP is working on a firmware fix. If you are OK with 2-channel then your fine.

Hmmmm....I didn't get any email from Jonathon.....I also don't remember entering any of my details (including shipping address or email address) as I paid through my PAYPAL directly....I assumed all the data could be garnered from the Paypal info as it completed the whole transaction without asking for further details.....any way I can track my shipment?

Thanks!

Yeek: Make sure you check the email that you used when ordering. If you paid by PayPal balance (and not credit card) often people forget they had an old email address in PayPal.

Otherwise forward your invoice or email you used to order to 3Dexperts@curtpalme.com and I'll look it up for you.

I posted this question at AVS too...hopefully can get some answers somewhere....

I connect my 3d Displayer like this:

3d BD player > 3d VIP > AVR > Projector (AE4000). I got picture but only stereo sound as I have yet to update the firmware.

when I connect it this way:

3d BD player > AVR > 3d VIP > Projector (AE4000) I got no picture at all.

It seems several people have reported on this forum the same issue. Has anyone managed to solve this?

My last resort is to use the 1st setup above and use my 2nd HDMI out just to carry sound to AVR.

Hi Yeek,

With your config 3D BD>AVR>VIP>AE4000, if the AVR is HDMI 1.3 some will not pass through the 3D signal
and some will. In my case the Yamaha would not, when I swapped it out with a Pioneer 1.4 HDMI, it functions
fine with my AE4000.

Is your audio system speaker setup 5.1 or 7.1 audio capable?

If 5.1 and you do the firmware upgrade then you should be able to restore multi-channel audio in your first
config you show at the top.

If you discover while doing the firmware upgrade that the Displayer is already 1.3, then I've discovered like
in my Sony 3D BD player audio menus a setting that interferes and forces stereo only. I just don't remember
what it was to tell you. So I recommend looking through any audio related menu items and enable/disable one
at a time.

Another option but is limited to 5.1 audio, is to run coax/Optical from the digital port from the BD player to the
AVR as illustrated in your first configuration above.

Or, 3D BD>VIP>AE4000 then pass 5.1 audio using TOSlink optical or coax to AVR.

See if these work for ya.

Hi again,

My AVR is HDMI 1.3....I'm running 7.1 setup. Will try using the 3dBD player's 2nd HDMI out to connect to AVR for audio....

Thanks!
