I've got a bunch of BG808s CRT neck boards out of a Barco (these are the high bandwidth ones from the sets with the Sony tubes).

Is the pinout of the Sony 8" tubes the same as the 9"MX?

I've got a customer that wants to use the BArco 1200 Sony tubes in an 8" set...

I seem to remember that it is pin 3 and pin 8 to be bridged together
look at the pins on the tube and you'll see which one is cut off

Well here is me thinking all Sony pinouts are the same!! I am sure there are people how have simply dropped these tubes into sets with no mods but hey perhaps they did change things!!

Are the neck boards in the 1200 the big black box type because the bg808s has a different neck board if this matters.

What does this mean if you use this type of tube sourced from a non Barco environment eg Sony 1292?

I had mixed bg 1200 and Sony 1292 tubes in my bg808 without problems
if I remember correctly it was a pin cut on the 1292 tubes also

So did you have to modify the neckboards in that case

G1 comes in pin8 in a 808 I think also the pin is missing on 1200 tube so you can connect it to pin 3

Can I use panasonic 180dvb22 or P16LNP/LNQ neckboards simply by rotating them 180 degrees in P19LCP07's/LPB's and Lug's?

The socket is rotate but pinout is the same.

I am very confused.
In this document I found the pinout of the tubes 9".
The order of the pins is described in a clockwise direction.

I take photo of the socket of a neck 9"
I see that the real number is counterclockwise
