I have an NEC XG110LC, with an NEC switcher which I use to switch s-video, component video, and HDMI to the projector. I have two Flea units for noise reduction, and a scaler for the s-video. I have been thinking about using a Lumagen Radiance XS in place of the switcher; it would also replace the scaler, and the two Flea units. I already have a Fury3 and GammaX for output to the projector. Would simplify setup. But, of course, the setup is done and works pretty well. And I have no experience with the Lumagen unit and don’t really know if it would be an improvement. Is expensive, and I'm In no rush to just spend money for new equipment, but if it were a considerable improvement, I'd consider it. Can anyone give me some practical advice based on their experience with the Lumagen unit?

The Radiance is the best money you will ever spend for your system! I have had all of their scalers so far, starting with the original Vision, moving on to the VisionHDP and now a Radiance XS. I couldn't be happier. No CRT user should be without one. If you can afford it, go for it. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer about the Lumagen.
By the way, my projector is a Marquee 8500 with MP mods and a Moome V2 HDMI card with MP mods.
Also, the customer support that Lumagen has is exemplary!
