I agree drags but if What HK Mods says is true that the new rules state the HDMI input must be on the main input PCB board of the display then the input cards are not an option. Only way around it is if the card is sent to moome and he somehow hard wires it the Video input boards of the PJ's.
As consumers we sat on our asses and did nothing with lobbing the lawmakers.
we want our HD and now WE have t play by their rules. This sucks, really sucks.
I'm going to go listen to some vinyl before they make that illegal too.

I imagine Kal could have said "For legal reasons, CurtPalme.com is not listing any HDfury content at all for the manufacturer." without getting into any trouble, and that would have made it perfectly clear to everyone what was going on. I do not think it's good business leave your loyal customers hanging like that. They deserve at least a vague explanation.

As of today HDCP rules: "device shall not allow the output of deciphered HDCP content in any analog representation"

With that wording experiencing any content would be impossible since the human nervous system is analog. Better not look at your display, plug you ears, and don't event think about thinking about the content you legally own

I fully agree, also they mention "Presentation Device" for which they give no definition and don't even bother answering anything about it

If the penalty for breaking the rules is key revocation, what guarantee is there, that a newly purchased HDFury will continue to function for the forseeable future?

The penalty for breaking the rules IS NOT KEY REVOCATION so question is irrelevant sir, sorry.
The penalty is a court case at the end if they feel you are too annoying to them.
I already mentionned that HDfury past , present and futur will work FOREVER !
Please make sure you read the other thread first : http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=281173
Since Master Key is public they need HDCP2.0 and HDMI2.0 to do such things , that means you also need new equipment, so guess what's coming now ... and still, they would have the same issue to point and locate several small batch within millions of ICs sold.

Who would I contact now about getting an HDFury2 repaired? The analog signal suddenly died, although the blue light still comes on.
I am not located in North America, if that helps.
edit: nevermind, I already got a reply from the paypal address from my order. That was fast!

And yet, HDCP has been compromised. A master key has been published and it's scattered all over the internet.
Adding new restrictions now is truly a case of shutting the gate after the horses are long gone.

Where have I been? Just noticed today the HD Fury missing from the site. My HD Fury III works great with my Sony G70. No issues so I have not been looking for posts.
