I have this Proxima DX1 here that has a good bulb in it (Tested it in a diff machine) however the projector has some interesting issues:
When flipping the vacation switch on, there is a buzzing coming from the front by the power supply block
At first no LED's light up, but then the power indicator flickers yellow and then comes on solid and goes to green
SOMETIMES the Ballast will light the bulb up and it will stay on and continue to brighten up like normal, however no image appears.
The fans do not spin up at all, so as a result when the bulb lights, I have to turn it back off very shortly after (about 10 seconds max is what I let it go for)..
So it seems like its a power supply issue but I dont know for sure.. any advice??

Offhand, I'd say this was a controller board issue, maybe a power supply. I had a DWIN here a while back that would have an intermittent bulb power up, then shut down. I thought it was the power supply, but once I started switching boards, it turned out to be the CPU board.
Unless you find a second unit to swap boards from, it's most likely a writeoff. Check the power supply for bulging capacitors and see if you find any.

Thanks for the reply Curt!
However, I am in luck, it appears that the main power connector going to the logic circuitry was the issue, a little cleaning and plugging in took care of the issue, it projects just fine now.
Thank you for the advice anyway!
