I'm looking for a way to make a small (42" diag) 16:9 movie screen to set on my desk in my office. I just picked up a BENQ W500 digital projector for $200 and I'm going to use it as a secondary monitor/ TV screen. At a 5' throw distance I figure it will be great even in direct sunlight.
Any ideas for a light material I could use? About 36" wide and 21" tall. I'll probably paint it grey. I have a hutch that I'm going to hang it on so I can take it on and off the desk as needed.

Take a look at Parkland Plastics PLAS-TEX waterproof wall panel. The stuff they use on bathroom walls. Available at most home improvement stores for a very reasonable price. Either glue it to a substrate or make a frame from some wood moulding.
