Oh! Oh! I do! I do! It was a CRT based forum that was started so that people could talk openly about anything since AVS was somewhat restricted on what could be talked about.
IIRC it was online for about a year (?) before our forum here came about.

Kal wins the boobie prize.
What many of you don't know is that was the place that brought about most of what you appriciate in the HDMI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI and gamma correction world just to name a few.
That place was thinking out of the box 101 for sure. It all started there. You pretty much had to be invited there because no one even knew it existed. Some of the best and brightest in mechanical and electrical engineering hung out there.
We had second generation funtional SD-SDI mods before Gary ever new what SDI meant. Functional dual link HD-SDI happened there. How long ago was that.
Not quite sure what made me think of it just now. Perhaps because I'm getting the urge to create something.

One thing I do remember is that it was up and down a lot... there were technical problems. Unfortunate.

A blast from our past (2005) which reminds me about the 1000's of hours Curt & I put in to pulling together CRT info for this site:

I remember the Evil Twin and have wondered about it a few times over the last couple months or so.
There was some good mod tech shared there. And I remember some guy who designed one of (or the?) first DVI inputs for a Marquee, but then he slacked off for months or years before sending it to anyone.

I still have it bookmarked. I don't have the heart to remove it.
Cz,
I think that was Casper, but it was pretty much vaporware.

Moonjong I think was the maker of the DVI card. That had a built in scaler and some had an SDI input option.
