Hello home cinema fans,

Noticed the descending shutdown/power off melody no longer plays. The ascending power on/boot up is fine.

Googling found two threads neither of which resolved for me when trying. AVS thread mentioned no melody when inputs not available, however, I have both SCART and HDMI present. Tried adding various other inputs (RF, dSUB PC, SCARTS) as a process of elimination to no avail.

Melody is set to Medium.

Annoying niggle. Any thoughts appreciated.

Paul. Thumbs Up

Hey Monkey Boy, I know what the problem is, the volume is set to zero. Consequently this mutes the powering off melody.

(Audio is normally through Amp.)
