Dude! Showing my age here but I remember having one of these on the little record/story book sets that you played on those little suitcase record players. I believe it was the Hobbit and the follow along book was just a few pages long but I would read it and listen to the record over and over.

Well in that case another thank you in advance. It's a phenominal player. I have some info and pictures about it here with links to buy from Amazon: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16934

Let us know how you like it once it arrives!

You get the Spears & Munsil High-Definition Benchmark Blu-ray Disc Edition disc for free inside too.

Kal

Kal, I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Oppo this morning. Using the Curt Palme link of course! Thumbs Up I can't wait to try this thing out and relegate the Panny player to the downstairs plasma. I'm really glad to be able to throw Curt a small bone through these Amazon links which makes the purchase that much sweeter. Very Happy

Now...what else do I want.

Thanks for the support dropzone! It really is appreciated!

Kal

Hi guys!

I've added an eBay affiliate link to the first post of this thread:

Support CurtPalme.com by buying at eBay.com!

Make a purchase at eBay using this link and a small percentage automatically goes towards the support and maintenance of the CurtPalme.com website and forum! The best part is that it costs you nothing extra!

You'll also see some eBay banner ads now showing up.

Thanks for your support!

Is there any way this can be combined with the bing.com cashback?? That is about the only way I shop at eBay anymore.

Never heard of it so I don't know - sorry! I doubt it however.

If there's some sort of service out there that makes shopping at eBay easier for you then you should definitely purchase through them to let them be rewarded for their work. It only seems fair.

Does this link still benefit the forum?

Yes it does. You can also add this to the end of your amazon address ( any amazon.com address ) and support the forum:

&tag=curtpalmecrtp-20

The reason I asked is it takes me to Amazon.com with nothing behind it.

Also the tag you listed takes me to a 404 page.

Keep in mind you need to add it to the end of the whole link like this:

From this:

Where is the link supposed to take you? when I click it I just go to amazon.com with nothing behind it to distinguish it.

It's supposed to take you to your original link. All the tag does is tell Amazon.com that you are coming in from curtpalme.com

I mean the link from Curtpalme.com

Is it supposed to have something behind it or just takes you to amazon.com and they know where it was directed from?

Once added to the original link you still end up at your same link. Try it.

Like I said it tells Amazon.com to credit curtpalme.com.
