I have a Boxlight projector with a M1 connector, I used a M1 to HDMI adapter, and connected it to my source with is component, by using a component to HDMI (v1.2a) converter, works great.

When I connect the cable box HDMI to the projector, the projector sees and locks on and displays it to be 1080, and I get a picture for about 2 seconds, then blanks out.

When I connect the Blu-Ray player HDMI to the projector the projector sees and locks on and displays it to be 1080, and I get a blacked out picture.

3 sources;
converter - works
cable box - does not work
Blu-Ray - does not work

Do you think the problem is signal strength, or maybe the version maybe different HDMI (v1.2a), or (HDMI (v1.3)?
would using a repeater to amplify the two not working sources correct this problem?

thanks for the help
