I am amazed I was able to find these cards. They have not been installed in a while. I took 6 images with my Blackberry cell phone camera, 3 of the modified card and 3 of the unmodified card. The images are too large to post here. I don't have time to play with image resizing. If someone sends me an email address, I will email the images to them.

Here is a picture from William. He sent over a few more if we need to look at any mod vs unmod cards. This looks like a simple jumper, Mike was there anything else we need to know about? I assume this should work on all versions of the Ehome cards?

This is great news. I have run a Moome card in my 9500 for several years and found out when I got it that it didnt work in a Ehome switcher.
If it just means soldering a couple of jumper wires between pins, it will be a welcome relief. I actually have one of the 1st component cards he made which I later replaced with a newer model , and will perhaps be now able to make that work in the switcher.

Is there really nothing more to do other than join those pins ?

Regards
Rich

Yeah, it's a little more complicated than that. That picture is not showing all that has to be done. There's a few changes that need to made on the other side of the card that is not shown in the picture.

I have a Marquee VIM 2005.11.30 Rev 1.12 DVI/Component card, and also a version of the HDMI/Component card.

How can I get these cards mod'ed so I can run them in my switcher. ?

Best Regards
Rich

That would be great, if the mod is easy enough to do myself, any idea if the mod is for all models of Ehome Moomes boards ?

So much for staying updated with auto emails?? I just PM's with William today. Do you (Mike or Moome) think there is anything more than the few jumper wires now?
