Well 1080p only needs 67.43? by 59.94, Ok lets just 68x60. So no problems at all for a G-90.

The 135mhz figure is not correct technically. It's just a good marketing figure, because no one ever put any of the Commercial projectors through real bandwidth testing, so things got out of control a bit and that's why the specs were so hyped on bandwidth ratings.
The 135mhz figure is higher than any other CRT projector out there at the time, but the actual bandwidth rating is not higher than a few of the other CRT projectors manufactured at the time.
The neck boards in a G90 is fairly high in bandwidth rating. They probably will do better than 135hz, but the input board in no way would handle 135MHZ.

Absolutely. But most importantly for the G90, the mods will produce a much cleaner/tighter video chain. So regardless if you're running 720P, 1080P 60 or 72hz, the image would be better.
They're almost done. I thought I would have been finished with it last week. I'm now only tweaking the gamma mini board to work with the internal gamma menu.

Congrats Mike! That is great to hear.
Looks like the G90's are gonna have to come off of the ceiling huh?

I would definitely like to get a modified board in one of those G90's and see how it compares to the other with the stock board in it.
Yep... the bandwidth improvement and cleaner image combined with a very special High Performance GAMMA circuit.
The end results -- Improved sharpness, detail, colors, clarity and depth of field. Imagine that being stacked into a more intense image..
