I just wanted to put a plug out there for Barry and his modification plates. I had a great experience getting my lenses changed over from the factory HD8s, and I would highly recemmend it for those out there like me that haven't made the jump to LC. I know he has a few sets of pre-modded lenses, so if there is anyone out there in the community still using HD8s, you should give this modification a look, and this is certainly your chance to avoid the hassle of trying to find good lenses at the right price first and get them ready to go. Great focus across the entire screen, and much deeper colors. You can't go wrong! I've had mine for close to 4 months, and I'm not missing the HD8s at all. As a matter of fact, they will be going in the trash soon

Thanks for the kind words Paul.
I have a few sets of HD144's that I'll pre-mod and let go for $399.

These adapters are designed to fit a Barco so to answer your question, yes they are Barco mounts.
Or Marquee or anything that takes an HD8 for that matter.
the MK1 adapters worked only on Marquee's (I have a few sets of these that I'll let go for $99). they require modification to the Marquee mounting plate so that the HD144 is mounted on it without modification. the drawback here is that the mod is a lot more involved and it will not work on the Barco or a Sony or anything else that uses a HD8.
I redesigned the mount such that you mount the new plate on the HD144 or an HD145 and then you merely unbolt your HD8s and bolt these on.
Although I have seen some HD144 that are not colour filtered, I do not accept those so all of the ones that I have are colour filtered and colour corrected.

Now that you said that, I should probably list them for the cost of shipping (I hate throwing perfectly good stuff away), however that money would be better spent on Barry's pre-modded 144s
