Link Posted: Wed Jan 27, 2010 5:57 pm Post subject: Parting Out Marquee 8501 (AC) - NEW PRICES! |
|
|
As is reflected in the thread on the main forum, the HVPS on my Marquee seems to have given up the ghost and since I still have an XG kicking around I've decided to switch to that for now... As such, everything on the marquee must go! If it's not listed here, shoot me a PM - I just listed the stuff I could easily get to for model #s.
Prices do not include shipping - which will be actual cost.
Tubes:
All 3 are in good condition and will come with the assemblies (minus VNB's)
Red - a solid 8
Blue - between a 7-8
Green - a 6 or 7 - would be a solid 7 if it wasn't for there being 2 wear patterns. Very usable though...
Pictures of the tubes will follow in 5 minutes.
Price: $50/Tube
All Boards (including burnt out HVPS) for $200 USD
More Parts:
Wired Remote - $15
2x Wireless remotes - $20each
IR Sensor - $10
Lens Foam - $5
All prices are negotiable, a portion of the sales will go to Curt. I'll be accepting PayPal only.

Yeah me too - it threw a great picture but at the price for a new HVPS I can't justify it when the XG is just sitting there... Unfortunately no CMM. It would be above the CLM right?

Ben, I am interested in your LVPS. Let me know if it's still up for grabs.

Hi Ben,
I'm looking for case parts, specifically the lens top cover. Do you have one and if so then how much?

Hey guys,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner - I had a moment of inspiration and started to troubleshoot the projector a little more.. I'm putting the sale on hold for a little while longer... If I go at it again, I'll shoot you guys PMs and give you first dibs on the parts you requested.

I'll swap you a HVPS for the Moome 1.3 card, if you'll need a HVPS.

Alright guys that was a quick turn around. The HVPS is almost certainly the issue - I was able to get ahold of some spare parts today to do some swapping. The HVPS is now making some weird sounds so I'm assuming it's done...
Nashou, MP, thanks for the offers but I have some NECs that are working that I think I'm going to concentrate on.
I've PM'ed the interested parties but as of right now nothing is sold - every thing can now be considered back up for sale though.

Please give me a price for the entire chassis minus the tubes...whatever's left. I need a Marquee test bed unit to properly pursue the Advanced Frankenyoke design to completion.
I do not need the shields or skins. Just the lower deck (complete, as much as possible) and the complete rear heat sink assembly and boards.
If the rear heat sink assembly is removed from the lower deck, both sections will easily ship via UPS. They're not very heavy.
I would want the neck boards. HVPS and LVPS, dead or alive. (I've had some success in fixing both.) Focus and
deflection boards, if available. All heat sink boards. I don't need the focus yokes but would take the deflection and
convergence yokes. CPC magnets, too.

Sorry for getting back to you late CJ - all boards have been tentatively sold. When I get confirmation, I will update the list as to what is available.

What's the difference between an 8500 and an 8501?

8501 means it came with ACON. They are identical otherwise. ACON is also for sale - board, sensor, and front faceplate... not sure of price on that so make me an offer..

Okay the buyer for all the boards has fallen through. The person closest to $400US + Shipping (which is what the original buyer agreed to) can have every board in the projector except for the moome cards and the ACON. I'll also throw in the IR sensor and 2 remotes. Keep in mind that although the HVPS is included, it is likely faulty.

They are all packed and ready to go....

Also, I haven't received any offer on the tubes or moome cards... if my prices are off feel free to make me ANY offer!

Okay guys last kick at the can here - I'll sell off all the boards in the above post for $200USD + paypal fees and shipping. I'll also sell each tube including housings and electronics for $50/tube + paypal fees and shipping (Note: cost for shipping the tubes will also include cost of packaging).
Moome cards have been sold..

Boards and magnetics have been sold! I now have two BARE tubes left (No magnetics on them). Green and Red - I'll sell them for $25 each plus shipping but be warned, shipping will probably be close to $50-60 as I'll need to factor in packing materials as well.
Thanks

Ben | F&%K, how do I always miss these threads? I really needed that newer style motherboard too. If you don't actually get paid for this stuff let me know, or let the buyer know in case he doesn't actually need the Mobo
