The following shots were taking from my setup using a modified Moome HDMI input card.
The card was specially modified by me to make the best of 1080P.
The performance difference after the changes were made, far far exceeded my expectations. I don't know where to start in describing the improvements to the image...

did you get my new VIM-FULLHD yet? can you compare it with your orginal mod hdmi card?
I mod it on filter design, add two solid state capacitor to get more clean power for opamp and add super white output option on it~

Yes, I have the card. I was Not sure what it was called.
I don't have the original to compare it to, only the FuryII I have here. I will be going back out to the blends and will do a comparison then. But from my experience with what's on the screen and what my test gear shows, it's now in a league of its own.
I would rate the new changes made by me this way: High Performance VIM-FullHD
It's so apparent it shows even in the screenshots.
I've now completed everything I need to do to it. Here's a few shots taking right after my final changes:

Oh, the final changes made would make it very important to have the contrast set within a particular range (window). It would not need to be precise or a scope setup, but it would need to be set before clipping for best image.
The shot posted (below) can be used for that. I'll get back to you later on how to use that scene and how to adjust the "contrast" pot on the card to the WHITE thing she's wearing.
I'll shoot you all the changes made later today.

I believe I already mentioned this months ago but as far as setting up any Moome card for proper white level while using the gamma circuit it is a must to use a scope to do it properly, you can't just guess at it. Yes I know very few have a scope to use but if you want it perfect then at the moment that's what it will take. I have talked with Moome in the past about a circuit he could add to his cards that would facilitate this without the need for a scope but his cards are very over crowded as it is. So hopefully he will find a way to add it in the future then everyone can get it bang on.

I looked at this, because I thought it would also be a problem. I'm not thinking it needs to be scoped now.
In fact, it can be done quite well without a scope. It'll require the same or similar method used to adjust the contrast on the PJ when calibrating.
Since the card I have is used in a Marquee, the exact 700mv rule would not be that critical. That's mainly because a Marquee has a bit of headroom where it will accept a little more than the specified 700mv on its BNC's or input.
I'll post back with the procedure once I'm finished with a few things here. It's basically adjusting the pot for bright white before clipping. But you'll have to make sure a few other things are set properly first.
Take for instance the following image (below) where the white in her collar appears to be right. I'm also using a touch of gamma boost in that image, and had to adjust the contrast pot to keep from clipping the whites. The shot shows both low and high range in the image. And though it's almost impossible to capture full white before clipping using a PS camera, the image shows her white collar full white before clipping very well.

Yep, a grayscale ramp is all that would be necessary. Or you could use certain scenes in movies, but I'd say the best would be the ramp.
There's really no need for a scope for this. The scope would only confirm proper 700mv to the VIM. But how would you measure that when the card is inserted in the VIM (no provision to measure), and depending on the video chain and what level of changes that has happened to it over the years, how could the 700mv be better than what you're actually seeing with the test pattern. Sometimes 700mv is really not enought- and that's why we usually increase the contrast in the projector.
With the ramp method, you can simply set the projectors contrast to default, and adjust the pot on the card for best ramp. Which would make for the best setup.
I overlooked the ramp. Not sure why I did, but thanks for mentioning it!
