I recon this is a good idea. After you finish posting here you have to click the back key about 4 times to get back to the forum main screen.
If you have each thread open in a new window you can just close it after you are finshed.
Is this possible KAL ?

Try Avant browser Graham, and middle click on the link you want to open in a new window.

Not sure that having each thread open in a new window when you click on it is something you want to force for all users.... I don't know of any forums that do this (AVS certainly doesn't).
I use IE as my browser.... you can do what I do here and on other forums: Just Shift-click on threads you want to read and they'll open in a new window. (In other words, hold down the shift key when you click on the thread).

I couple of the other forums I am in allow you to select it. I find it works really well. It results in way less mouse clicks or key hold downs.
An option maybe?

Firefox with "Open Link in New Tab" - problem solved.
At least with Firefox you don't have the annoyance of windows popping up when opening a link(using the tab feature). You stay on the main screen/page until you're ready to view the other pages/material; it's quick and easy. 8)

I'm using Firefox and always right-click on links to open the new pages in a new tab. In fact, Firefox has a feature that let's you force spawned windowds into a new tab, too.
