I have emailed Mr Moome a number of times with these problems and have even included photos but I don't get any response so I thought I would try this forum to get an answer.
1. The main problem is, that the picture from the new EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box is very washed out. When I replace the new EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box with my old EXT-HD box the picture returns to normal and looks very good.
2. The " SEL" button in conjunction with the switches (4&5) moves the position of the picture on the screen however as soon as the input is changed the picture returns to its original setting. Having to continually adjust the phase setting is not acceptable when you are running a number of different DVD's for your friends.
3. The gamma and the contrast adjustments have no effect on the picture even though I turned the pots from end to end. (25 turns).
Could you please help with an answer solve to these problems.
The equipment I"m using consists of:
Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray player,
Soniq Blu-Ray Player and a
NEC PG6-Xtra CRT Video Projector.
EXT-HD box (works perfectly)
EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box ( Washed out )
1 meter long V1.3 rated HDMI cable . I get the same results with a 2 meter cable and via my Sony Amplifier.

it may too high gamma value, please low down the gamma value by clock wise the pot.

yes! the shift value need adjust when ever your input resolution is changed, and you can reset to default value by press SEL (with #4 at K side, and #5 at E side)

there is only gamma can adjust on current version EXT-FULLHD
sorry the manual not update this information!

This EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box does not work, and the only adjustment on the box doesn't work either. I think that my only choice is that I return the EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box to you for a refund,
I thought about getting you to exchanging the EXT- FULL HD Universal HDMI 1.3 to RGB Converter Box for the Sony card version to put in my G70, but if it uses the same electronics then it probably won't work either.
Please let me know what I should do?

the IFB-FULLHD is more expensive, it use the better three dedicate video 12bit DAC, and better video amplifier, gamma control is different~ if you need more exchange information, please email to moome@curtpalme.com
