|
|
I'll list these for a week, if there's no takers then I'll put them into a Runco BG808s that I have here.
This is a new old stock set of ultra rare P16 tubes out of a Barco BR808 (retro) projector... WITH scheimpflug adjustments! Never seen this mounting before for an LC set. One full set of R G and B tubes, date code is from 1999, so they are relatively recent vintage. Came from a flight simulator place that I deal with from time to time. THese are the sharper P16 tubes, Panasonic pinout (tubes made by Panasonic). The lenses need to be HD 214 or similar, the smaller lenses as used in RP sets.
You can always cut the tubes out of the housings and mount into non LC standard Barco/MArquee frames, but why would you? Convert a regular BG808 or BD808s to an LC set with that all important Scheimpflug. See the pix for more details. I only opened the boxes to make sure I had a full set of LC tubes, they have never been installed.
$1000 USD incl shipping within North America. Shipping overseas will be about $300-ish USD for the set, $100 or so per tube. For overseas buyers, I'll apply $100 of the purchase price to your shipping, making the tubes $900 plus shipping.

Any of the smaller HD lenses for rear projection sets. HD 214, 114, 215... A set of a Barco retro 808 'should' focus enough to give you a 100" diagonal picture. I don't have any, but they are out there.
I'm going to see if some HD18 lenses off an NEC XGLC or Sony G70 will focus, but those would need some custom metal adapters needed to properly bolt to the smaller mounting diameter of the BArco frame.

Will not work! you'll need to use C-elements from a Sony G70 or nec = same. I have a set here in the NL if you like. And you'll have to adjust de plastic housing off the HD18 to fit in. See topic of Terry called barcostein on AVS.

OK, there goes that idea. I don't typically keep on top of tweaker type threads, so thanks for that.
