Hello everyone,

First time poster, and newbie calibrator on my Samsung LN55A950 using the CalMAN software and an EyeOne Display 2 meter.

I had a question about calibrating to my environment, and I just wanted to verify it to see how the EyeOne 2 meter should be used.

If I want to calibrate a Daytime Mode, and a Nighttime Mode on my Samsung LN55A950 LCD HDTV, should I do the following:

Calibrate the following modes:

  • Daytime Mode - During the daytime when the room is brighter
  • Nighttime Mode - During the evening/night when the room is darker

Or do both of the calibrations need to be done in a dark environment for the EyeOne 2 meter to work correctly?

Thanks. Smile
