Since 8110s don't have dynamic astig, I'm hoping for 2,4,6 magnets (have not got that far, yet.)
The 03P VIM made it worth the $150 and 7 hour round trip!

9500... why do you think Chip is asking about 'quee molds in that other thread?
Its' actually in working condition, set up for ceiling. I believe it was in an HT since new, and the original owner apparently had an HD Leeza as a scaler ($5k list price when I looked at them)
Its' painted black but the paint has suffered in the care of the kid who was the second owner. I fired it up and checked the hour counter: 5700ish combined, with the majority (5000+) being CRTs on.
The second owner never got it running: WAF, lack of manufacturer support, and too little time to research it resulted in it never having been set up. His only attempt was with component and no transcoder...

*sigh*
The 03P VIM that's in the 8110 is a 50-2005-03P, not the desirable 50-2035-03P. Tried it in the 9500LC and the HV won't come up.
Oh well! It was still only $150.

Oh that sucks. I know you were looking forward to getting that VIM. I'm sure we can find another use for it though
