Reviews/Testimonials
"... infinitely more flexible than my Harmony remote!" - RalphArch
"Fast shipping! I got mine in 5 days. US to Canada!" - Analog Rocks
"The remote is several cuts above the usual slab 'o buttons. A learning handset that's also pre-programmed with a large code library, it features an LCD touchscreen as well as soft and hard buttons — all backlit. In a thoughtful touch, the remote automatically turns on when you pick it up (there's a tilt switch inside) and automatically turns off after a user-settable delay. And it can use either infrared (IR) or radio-frequency (RF) signals to control the system. RF is particularly useful when the control center is in another room (maximum range is 66 feet). The control center's output for a supplied dual IR emitter even lets you control other equipment in your rack with RF commands from the remote. Of course, you can also create macros, which allow you to issue a string of commands with one button touch. Finally, the remote has a serial port so you can connect it to your PC and customize the touchscreen's layout and the remote's operation using the supplied Freedom Edit Windows software." - Sound & Vision Magazine
"Got the remotes yesterday and did a quick setup for basic home theater functions. The remotes work really well and send RF out to my RCA brand IR blaster receivers. I no longer have to point the remote at a specific spot to control components. Deluxe!" - Loudmouse
"I received the remote control soon after you have shipped it. I am very happy with it. Good service and very quick. It works well. Thanks." - Roland

Thanks for that reminder Tom! I am having trouble with my old TSU 2000 rebooting on a regular basis. I was close to giving up on it and trying one of these units. Unfortunately if it won't power up my Barco then I won't bother.
Anybody ever get one ot these units to power up a Barco CRT?
Steve

Hi Tom,
Yes the G70 works.
Hate to admit why the learning wasn't working. Lets just say I had my poles reversed. Or maybe the sky was falling.
Anyway, got this baby filled up with all my devices. But I am replacing a Radio Shack 8 in 1 ir/rf, which is a any idea if the rf is compatable? doesn't seem to like it ? The radio shack is a UEI 8910.
Thanks
David

No problem. A lot of people do that.
The only rf receivers that I know it works with are the Philips/Marantz receivers and the RCA D50.

The remotes all come with FreedomEdit on CD. Not sure where you can download it.

It is based on the NEO but you can't use the same program. FreedomEdit is required to program a TSU501. Now, all NEO (TSU500) config files are compatible with the TSU501. Freedom Edit automatically converts them when you open them.

Load the file you created with NeoHacker into NeoEdit instead of Freedomedit. Is your device page still there?

Yes, when use Neoedit to open it, the startup page is still there, but use freedomedit, freedomedit has reseted the startup page to normal.
