I have the CalMAN/EyeOne Display 2 combo and would like to use it to calibrate my CRT projector. I have a Stewart MicroPerf screen. What is the best way to position the EyeOne to take readings? If I hold it up, I'm not sure about having to keep it still and getting it back in the same place/distance for the next reading. I tried draping the cord behind the back of the screen and using the enclosed weight, but the cord is not long enough to drop behind the screen to connect to my laptop and the EyeOne does not stay perpendicular to the screen. And I certainly don't want to "stick" the EyeOne to my screen. It would have been nice if the EyeOne had a way to be attached to a tripod.
so...any ideas on what to do here...or am I making this too hard?
thanks

Well, I've never done a projector calibration myself, but judging by reading the guide at the top of this very forum, they recommend just taping it to a tripod. Duct tape works well.
Here's the link to the guide, go take a peak, the information on how to do it is about 1/3 of the way through the page (there's also a solution not involving duct tape but a bit of creative work.
