I am having some problems when creating a post using google chrome. I am sure this is not on your high priority list to look at now. If you create a post, and edit in the message body using chrome, you will see what I mean. Text is not updated until you perform some mouse action on the edited text.

Just posting this an FYI since non-IE browsers will be gaining more widespread use over time, and this is a pretty big issue for those users.

This would likely be an issue right in the phpBB software that would be fixed over time. It's likely not specific to our implementation of the forum.

Non-IE browsers...possibly. Chrome..not in the near future. That is one piece of crap software application! I think it is scared off enough people already that it will be hard for it to get any mindshare back in the near future.

So what do you use Dave? I tried Chrome and wasn't really impressed, my main browser is Opera but I do have IE8 for the few times when Opera isn't compatible.

On Linux and Windows I pretty much use Firefox. On Mac OS X I find myself using Safari more than Firefox.

I think the press got out on Chrome and it forced them to release it before it was ready--at least I hope that is what explains how bad it is.

Define fast. Forking a process for every tab is not fast in any way shape or form.

I agree, but I never underestimate the stupidity of the general population. I downloaded it and I am unimpressed. I believe its biggest claim to fame is that V8 engine (or whatever it is), but I believe the other browsers are going to include it. I am with Zeb, as I use Opera 90% of the time with Firefox the rest.
