I know Moome wants to make one (he asked me about it and I said it's a good idea of course ). Question is when.... I know it's not even started yet so it could still be 4-6 months (or more).
The idea is to discontinue the older HDMI 1.1/1.2 cards (like the Marquee VIM-HD) and only make HDMI 1.3 cards. The Marquee version will be called the VIM-FULLHD (no surprises there).

with Marquee's being the most popular model out there I hope he doesn't delay the 1.3 card too long. I think the Marquee cards have always been his best seller no?

No such luck I'm afraid, us Marquee owners seem to be a small though dedicated band of brothers;

Nope. Sony is at least 3-4 times more popular if not more. Then the EXT-HD due to the universal nature. The Marquee VIM-HD actually sells very slowly.

I find this hard to believe, i think they sold over 100 last two batches, the second batch took a bit longer but they did sell.

I have the numbers here. Since Summer of last year the Sony IFB-HD sold 46% more than the Marquee VIM-HD. The EXT-HD sold 35% more than the Marquee VIM-HD.
Consider also that Jean (JohnHWman) sold almost as many Sony DVI input cards too prior to Moome starting to sell his and the numbers are even better as many Sony owners bought Jean's card and stuck with it. So Moome was able to sell that many more Sony cards than Marquee cards even though there were a few hundred DVI/HDCP cards already out there. There have been no other Marquee solutions.

Banding is a bad thing normally. But I like the way it sounds.

Yeah, but, I only bought one card since they were only 1.1/ 1.2 cards. Have been waiting for the 1.3 cards! Will buy 3 when they become available!

I'd also like to get in line for this........the 1.1/1.2 card is pretty good, this one can only be better.
Will it be possible for additional custom resolutions to be added to the EDID on this model?
Thanks, Mark

Porch settings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there any way you could incorporate them in the new card Moome?
For the marquee and Blu Ray, if you don't run fast retrace you don't get the full picture (pun). If you run fast retrace you get jailbars on the left side. It would be nice if we could run slow retrace and adjust porch settings to avoid jailbars and a video processor or htpc.
Anyone else want this please chime in!!!
Jim

I've not played a Blu-Ray through my Marquee yet (got all the necessary bits just not set it all up yet ) but if what you say is indeed correct then Porch settings are a must! If there is any way to implement it Moome then us Marquee owners would be most grateful!
Also, is there a trade-in allowance or discount for us current owners

Paul I think it be easier to sell your card and just get the new one, its what I will do.
