Tried different cables and they all work fine w/other equip ie xbox, ps2, ps3 etc.
Can't decide if projector doesn't like dvd player or vice-versa

Insignia DVD player with component cable out
Component cables
Composite video cables
Help!
Any wisdom appreciated

So, you're using the VGA-component cable to get component input on the 73c, right? Any chance you haven't configured the input properly in the munu as component and instead have it configured for RGB?!?!
Should be:
menu -> video -> input signal : YPbPr
Not:
menu -> video -> input signal : Computer/RGB

The pic for my name is from another application, sorry.
I have 2 options for input signal, one makes it red, the other green.
YPbPr I think was the red one. YCbCr being the green one.
I've had to play with cables and settings before trying to get the game systems
on the projector. Thats where the screen shot came from. Someone told me
I couldn't run the definition I'm currently running so I included a pic.
