Thanks for the close up Rolf. The carpeting against the wood looks great.

What type of camera do you have? Maybe we can help you get better screen shots.

Very nice setup. That wood/carpet/leather combo is outstanding....do your cheeks hurt yet from all the smiling you must be doing every time you walk into that room?

very nice looking, I bet your friends and family love watching movies at your house. Have you considered using one of the Sony dvd carousels for your movie collection?

The stars are fiberoptic, and just sticked trough the panel. The recliner are ca 3,8m from the screen. (screen are 290x124cm). I have seen ~5 DVD's last year...only HD now! Smile

Superb job, Rolf. That's really a beautiful environment.

I did have a couple questions... There's quite a bit of space behind your 3 primary seats, and I was wondering if you have a 2nd row of seating back there now, or planned?

Also, unless the base panel under the screen retracts in some way, you've gone with a CIH 2.35 scope screen, on a CRT! Many CRTers who have contemplated this have decided not to do so, for a variety of reasons (primarily wear, light output, and potential loss of resolution for 1.78/1.85 content). Could you comment on your thoughts regarding this decision? Do you scale all content to 800p @72/75 Hz with your iScan HD scaler, like Gary M. does?

> I modded it with new HD144 lenses <

Your pictures in the lens folder on your website gives the impression these were actually HD-145's?

I got a set of 3 seats in the back row, and planning for total 5 (if my plans goes trough) Smile

85% of all movies are letterboxed 2.35:1 (in 16:9). Works very good, and I do not miss lightoutput on the screen.
My setup: 1280x720p from TviX M6400.

The lenses are HD144's.

Rolf: What brand and model are the 2nd row seats? Do they lean back or rock? They look comfy!

What are you using between the Tvix and the pj?

Everything looks great together.
