Cliff & William Productions are pleased to announce their 2008 Summer Home Theater Extravaganza!!!!
This time, the boys are offering a dual HT Meet. Part 1 takes place in Cliffy's Home Theater, over the weekend of August 2/3. Part Deaux takes place at William's Home Theater, over the weekend of August 23/24. Mark your calendars. Hide the women and children. Burn the digitals. Its the best of blendin and stackin, (or stackin and blendin, depending on your point of view) not to mention BBQin, Drinkin, and just havin a great time with like minded folk.
Start lettin us know who is interested. The Great Don Wallace has already signed up to display his culinary wares at the Virginia portion of the Extravaganza. Even the legendary MP has been enticed to pop on in and join the fun. Come one, come all.
Let the anticipation (and fun) begin............
William (and for Cliffy)

Ladies and Gentlemen;
This was not intended to be an either/or deal. Everyone is most warmly welcome to attend both meets. The original idea was to party at Cliffy's (before he burns out all 6 CRTs), de-tox, then move the party East. Guest BBQ'ers, guest drinkers, guest Home Theater lovers welcome at both events. Even the Great Clarence is attending both Meets. Everyone will be captured for all posterity!!!
Initial list of attendees at Party East includes:
The Great Don Wallace
The Legendary Mike Parker
The Ever Captivating Clarence
His Lordship Mr. Emdawqz1
The One and Only Cliffster
The Host
His Hottie Wife
William

As much as I would love to see Cliff's setup, Chicago is a bit too much of a drive for me. Not to mention my wife's birthday is the 2nd so that's out. Maybe one day.
However, Virginia is more realistic so I might just have to try and make that one. I have a feeling I will come back to my setup very depressed though.

Hey William,
Let me know if anyone might be interested in trying some halibut . I can send some for the party if you need more . BTW I just caught a 227 lb one last thursday so there is plenty for all to try .
Also if anyone is coming up to Alaska on a cruise this summer you are most welcome to drop by and say hello.

I never come empty handed.... i just tried a new recipie for Apple smoked pork ribs......
it was seriously money.....
and since ribs dont trave as well for chicago....

One would think it foolish to bring pork TO Chicago, given its' position as Hog Butcher to the World... BUT it seems everything worthwhile is exported FROM there!
I occasionally participate in a private annual RibFest, in Elk Grove, and the ribs are provided by a most excellent butcher who orders whole-hog for the purpose... near Detroit. Go figure.
I agree, tho, that DogFish Head travels well!

Damn, if only the timing worked out better... I'm gonna be in Chicago the weekend of July 12/13, and in Norfolk VA the week after that... sure you don't want to move the shindigs up a month??
