OK, I know that the format just died.

Don't take me wrong, but since the death of this format I have managed to get the excellent Toshiba HD-XE1 player at a bargain and I have started building up a HD-DVD library with the best movies made in that format.

However, yesterday I passed for my area local PC hardware megastore and I saw that they had HD-DVD Recordable Discs on the shelves. So, when I saw them, there was an instant "click" inside me.

This is why I am asking:

Is there any HD-DVD writer drive for a PC available in the market? I need maker, model, price (if possible) and a possible place to buy.

I heard that Toshiba had introduced some laptop models with such a drive built-in, but this is the only information I have.

Thanks

Thanks for your time Tom, but all these are BD writers. I could not find any HD-DVD writer in the link.

However, I will continue checking around.

Thanks for the topic

I can see that you live in NY. Is this correct? It's been a long time since my last visit at NY (it was in the late 80's) and I really miss it.

Are there many Greeks still in Astoria? I have lost my contacts there.

Be well.
